Tania Dmytraczenko is the Practice Manager for Health, Nutrition, and Population in Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank. With 20 years of experience as a health economist, she has worked as a researcher and technical advisor, focusing on health policy, planning, health care financing, and health systems strengthening in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. In her current role, she leads the Health, Nutrition, and Population Global Practice for Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank. Prior to joining the organization, she served as a principal at Abt Associates, where she provided technical assistance for programs funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the World Health Organization (WHO), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the Joint UN Programme on HIV/AIDS.
Before that, Tania held a joint appointment with the Department of Economics and the Center for Latin American Studies at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned her Ph.D. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
