Tatiana is a Financial Sector Specialist with the World Bank Crisis and Disaster Risk Finance team at the Finance, Competitiveness and Innovations Global Practice, working on strengthening financial preparedness of countries to natural disasters and climate shocks. She works primarily in Europe and Central Asia and East Asia and Pacific on fiscal resilience and improving public financial management of disasters and disaster risk-based budgeting, development of disaster risk finance strategies, public assets data systems, catastrophe insurance programs for households and sovereign disaster risk finance. She holds a MSc in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance and a PhD in Risk and Emergency Management from IUSS Pavia.
