Tejesh Pradhan is a consultant for the Afghanistan poverty team. He has over three years of experience in international development, previously working with several regional teams at the World Bank and the Finance Department in the IMF. He focuses on the application of econometric and data science techniques on issues related to poverty, education, social protection, aid and economic development. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from American University, an M.S. in Resource Economics from UMass Amherst, and B.A. degrees in Economics and Mathematics from Williams College.
