Teklu Tesfaye is a Senior Agricultural Specialist in the Food and Agriculture Global Practice. He has worked extensively on broad ranging agricultural and rural development aspects, including livelihood resilience, productivity and growth, and commercialization.Teklu is currently leading the Ethiopia leg of the World Bank’s Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project in the Horn of Africa (ET DRDIP). DRDIP is a Regional operation covering Djibouti, Ethiopia, Uganda, Kenya and IGAD. Teklu has designed and provided implementation support to many projects, including the two phases of the Agricultural Growth Program (AGP I and II); the third phase of the Pastoral Community Development Program (PCDP III); the Regional Pastoral Livelihoods Resilience project (RPLP), and the Livelihood Resilience and Commercialization Project (LRCP), which is under preparation. Teklu has been with the World Bank since 2009.
