Thiago Ferreira Almeida is Superintendent of Planning, Integration and Investment Financing at the State Secretariat for Economic Development of Minas Gerais. He is a Specialist Attorney in International Law and Specialist in Public Policy and Governmental Management, as well as a coordinator of projects for territorial planning to economic development, promotion for biofuels projects and attracting foreign investments from International Agencies and Development Banks for public projects.
Thiago worked as legal assistant in Public-Private Partnership projects in road infrastructure, solid waste, water infrastructure, state parks and public services for four years. He has a Master in International Law from the School of Law of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, a Bachelor in Law from the School of Law of the Federal University of Minas Gerais and Bachelor in Public Management from João Pinheiro Foundation, as well as a specialization in economics from the University of Turin, Italy.
