Thiruni Liyanage is a Water Resources Management Specialist working with the Water Global practice at the World Bank. She is a civil engineer and has a MPhil in Civil Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. She joined World Bank in 2018. She worked in private sector as a design engineer in various development projects in Sri Lanka prior joining the World Bank.
