Thomas Chalumeau is the Global Broadband Lead at The World Bank. In this role, he supports the Bank’s connectivity programs and investments in fixed and mobile networks, as well as the Bank’s policy and regulatory dialogue in client countries. Prior to joining the World Bank, he held several VP level positions in the European Telecom Industry and in Investment Banking for 15 years, and acted as Regional Lead, Principal Investment Officer at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Infrastructure. He started his career in the French Public Service (French State Shareholding Agency) and as a Manager with McKinsey & Company. He graduated from ENA School of Government and has an MBA in Finance from ESSEC and a Master in Macroeconomics from Sciences Po Paris. |
