Thomas Danielewitz is a statistician in the World Bank’s Development Data Group. In August 2011 he relocated to World Bank headquarters in Washington DC after having spent three years in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is currently managing a US$30 million World Bank credit to the Government of Tanzania for the development of the country’s national statistical system. He is an expert on statistical organization, national accounts, public finance statistics and statistical capacity building projects. He holds a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
