Dr. Thomas Deeb is an internationally recognized expert in PFAS, food safety, and public health, with decades of experience working at the intersection of science, regulation, and global trade. He is the Vice President and Co-Founder of T&M Associates, a technical consulting firm that has worked extensively with governments, international institutions, and the private sector to strengthen trade systems, standards (both public and private), and food safety and public health practices.
T&M Associates brings deep, long-standing expertise in PFAS, spanning applications in textiles, food packaging, medical materials, cookware, and a wide range of industrial uses. This breadth of experience has led to invitations to present and advise U.S. Congressional Fellows, the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the International Society of Beverage Technologists, and numerous governments and industries worldwide on PFAS implications, regulatory trends, and practical risk-mitigation strategies.
Dr. Deeb holds a PhD in Chemistry from Texas A&M University and is the author of numerous scientific papers, presentations, and patents. He is widely regarded as a leading authority on PFAS and has extensive experience supporting trade facilitation, standards development, and food safety systems. Over the course of his career, he has worked for more than 30 years in emerging markets, including Eastern Europe and the CIS, Africa, and the Middle East, across a broad range of industrial and agricultural.
