Thomas is an Engagement Manager and head of the US office at Vivid Economics. He is an expert in climate change policy, energy markets and their interactions. He has detailed knowledge of the design and impacts of carbon pricing mechanisms around the world and the development of countries’ national climate plans. Thomas worked with governments, international organizations and private clients on the analysis, design, and impact of environmental regulation and climate change policy.
He holds a Master in Economic and Financial Research with specialization in econometrics and a BSc in International Economic Studies from Maastricht University.
