Tiago Falcão is a Senior Social Protection Specialist at the World Bank. He holds a Master’s in Economic Development from UNICAMP and has 25 years of experience in the Brazilian government. A career Public Policy and Government Management Specialist, he led the Bolsa Família Program and coordinated the Brazil Without Extreme Poverty Plan. Under his leadership, Bolsa Família earned international recognition as one of the world’s most effective and well-targeted social protection programs.
