Tihtina Zenebe Gebre is a Senior Economist in the Education Global Practice of the World Bank for the Eastern and Southern Africa Region. She is currently supporting the World Bank education portfolio in Rwanda, South Africa, Eswatini, and Lesotho. In her position, she supports analytical and operational work on quality basic education, skills development, and gender. She holds a BSc from Brown University and an MA and a PhD in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
