Till Hartmann is a Governance Specialist in the South Asia Region (SAR), where he works at the intersections of anticorruption and GovTech. Till first joined the Bank in 2014 as a JPA in the Public Sector Unit in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region (LCR), doing project design and implementation work. He holds a Ph.D. in Governance from the Hertie School Berlin, a Master’s degree in International Economics and Development from Johns Hopkins University SAIS, and undergraduate degrees in Political Science from the Free University of Berlin and Sciences Po Paris. Till’s publications focus on the nexus between corruption and development.
