Dr. Tim Ndezi is the founding Director of the Centre for Community Initiatives (CCI) in Tanzania, with over a decade of experience supporting community-led efforts in urban poor communities. His work focuses on security of tenure, affordable housing, WASH services, and climate resilience. He holds a  PhD from Loughborough University. His expertise spans urban poverty, risk, and resilience, and he has built strong partnerships with NGOs, governments, and academia. As a member of the Slum Dwellers International (SDI) network, he brings insights from global community exchanges, helping communities influence pro-poor policies and negotiate inclusive urban development solutions.
