Tim Schmidt-Eisenlohr is a Principal Economist in the Division of Financial Stability of the Federal Reserve Board and a Fellow of CESifo, Munich. He was previously an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Research Fellow at the Centre for Business Taxation at the University of Oxford and a member of Nuffield College. His research focuses on international finance, international trade, and banking. He received a PhD from the European University Institute in Florence in May 2010.
