Toks Fayomi largely works on cross-sectoral initiatives that focus on leveraging ICTs for development.
Since she started consulting with the World Bank in 2010, Toks has been involved in the implementation of human development and ICT for development pilots and projects in Nigeria and has supported various activities as part of the education, financial and private sector development, social development, and ICT units.
Prior to consulting with the World Bank, Toks had worked in information technology departments of government, SMEs, and a Fortune 500 company in the US, Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She holds a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Liberty University and an international MBA from Tsinghua SEM and MIT Sloan.
