Tolkun Jukusheva is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist with the World Bank’s Global Practice for Urban, Resilience and Land, leading projects to strengthen disaster risk management in Central Asia.
Before joining the World Bank, Tolkun fulfilled various project management roles with the UNDP, Aga Khan Foundation, Save the Children, American University in Central Asia. Tolkun has over 15 years of experience in managing projects with a focus on disaster risk management.
Tolkun has an MSc in Management (Academy of the President, Kyrgyz Republic) and a BSc in Marketing (Kyrgyz State University).
