Tommaso Rooms works at the World Bank as a Private Sector Development Specialist. Since 2011, he worked on subnational Doing Business projects in different contexts, from OECD economies to developing and conflict afflicted countries. He led the subnational Doing Business in Afghanistan 2017 project. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, he worked as a research assistant at the Global Governance Program of the European University Institute. He holds a master’s degree in Public Policy from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Florence.
