Tricia Koroknay-Palicz, née Gonwa, is a development economist, with experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Latin America. She is currently working in the Africa Region Gender Innovation Lab, within the World Bank’s Africa Region’s Chief Economist’s office. Her current research centers on issues of gender, economic activity, and assets. She is currently involved in a number of impact evaluations across Africa. Tricia holds a master’s degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs. Before joining the World Bank, Tricia worked for both the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Jameel Poverty Action Lab and the NGO Innovations for Poverty Action.
