Trishna Rana is a social inclusion consultant in the Global Practice for Social, Urban, Rural, and Resilience unit. She supports the SOGI (sexual orientation and gender identity) and disability inclusive development teams in their efforts to minimize discrimination and exclusion of marginalized groups. Additionally, Trishna serves as the social chair for GLOBE, the World Bank’s LGBT+ employee resource group.
Before joining the World Bank, she worked as an editor and journalist in Nepal reporting on governance in South Asia, fragility and conflict, gender gaps in development, and gender-based violence.
Trishna holds a Master’s degree in International Studies from the University of Denver.
