Tristan Reed is an economist for the World Bank's Development Research Group working on questions about industrial organization relevant to public policy. His work has been published in the American Economic Journals, Brookings Papers on Economic Activity, and Journal of Political Economy, among other venues. Alongside research, he is available to advise clients on sectoral development strategy and the technical aspects of competition and trade policy. Prior to joining the Bank, Tristan Reed was an associate of McKinsey & Company in Lagos, Nigeria. A native of California, he holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University and a B.A. summa cum laude from UCLA.
