Uche Ekhator-Mobayode is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh, Bradford. Her research focuses on development economics, health economics, and feminist economics. Uche was recently selected to a Young Fellowship Program through a competitive process as part of a partnership program between the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the World Bank Group, and UNHCR to build the evidence base on forced displacement. As a fellow, she researched the impact of forced displacement on gender-based violence. She received a master’s degree in applied probability and statistics from Northern Illinois University and economics and finance from Southern Illinois University. She also holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Northern Illinois University.
