Uran Esengeldiev studied Technology Policy and Management at the Maxwell School of Syracuse University under the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. Prior to that, he was vice president - technical director at Kyrgyztelecom OJSC, where he was responsible for organizational management, technical development and interaction with government regulatory authorities and partners. In his recent position as a consultant to the World Bank Group, he was focused on the digital development of the Kyrgyz Republic and Central Asia. He holds a degree in management from the Kyrgyz State National University and a degree in radio engineering/construction/technologist from the Kyrgyz Technical University.
