Ursula Casabonne is an Operations Analyst in the World Bank's Poverty Reduction and Economic Management Network. She previously worked in the Sustainable Development Network (SDN) Vice Presidency and the World Bank's Gender Anchor. Before joining the World Bank, Ursula was Research Associate at the Institute of Development Studies in Sussex, UK, where she worked on several commissioned evaluations and reports, including: an independent evaluation of the African Development Fund, the future of multilateral development banks, the financing of global public goods, an assessment of development effectiveness evaluation of UN agencies, and a diagnostic study on budgeting and finances at the UN Secretariat. A Canadian and Venezuelan citizen, Ursula holds a BA in Politics and Economics from McGill University and a MA in Public Policy from Georgetown University
