I am an undergraduate from the University of Colombo pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics in the stream of banking and finance. I currently work as Accounts Associate at the PricewaterhouseCoopers-Sri Lanka to fulfill my professional qualification requirement. Having had the exposure to the discipline of Economics, I view the subject as one that opens up a third eye to envision and articulate ways to resolve issues of economic significance.
I presented my first research paper at the 9th South Asian Students’ Meet under the topic of Green economics and became the winner. Writing for the World Bank blogging competition is my first experience as a blogger.
