Véronique Verdeil, a geographer by training, is a Senior Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist at the World Bank since 2012. She worked previously with various public and private entities on water and sanitation services for the poor, urban services, and global water policies. She has experience in leading analytical work and sector dialog, and managing development projects in West Africa, Haiti, Colombia and the Philippines, among others. Véronique is currently based in Washington DC. She holds a PhD from the University of Paris, France, in Urban Planning and Development.
