Victor Daye is a Survey Specialist in the World Bank's Development Data Group. Previously, he worked as project Coordinator of Survey Solutions CAPI/CAWI/CATI platform for West and Central Africa region in the Data Analytics and Tools Unit, 2016. Prior joining the World Bank, he has worked at Afrobarometer as Data Manager of Francophone countries.

Victor has been involved in the Bank's efforts to develop and deploy global public software tools to make survey work easier and improve the quality of data through survey design and management, questionnaire programming and data collection in the World Bank Group’s projects, mainly in developing countries in collaboration with their National Institute of Statistics. He is supporting the regional complex surveys (Harmonization household survey in West and Central Africa countries project, Energy household Access project with Multi-Tier Framework method, Agriculture surveys, Feed the Future project, Enterprises survey and census, High Frequency Phone-based Surveys of Households to Assess the Impacts of COVID-19, JDC Forced Displacement…).

His main research interest is on Data quality in official statistics in developing countries as well as the promotion of the use of data for development by improving their discoverability, usability, and accessibility.
