Victoria Levin is a Senior Economist in the Education Global Practice, working in the Latin America and the Caribbean Region. Her current work is focusing on secondary and post-secondary education and skills development as well as learning assessment. In her former role, Victoria was a co-Lead of the Skills Global Solutions Group, where she co-authored the global inter-agency report, Building Better Formal TVET Systems: Principles and Practice in Low- and Middle-Income Countries , and worked on issues related to measurement and development of socioemotional skills, and innovations in adult literacy.
In the past, Victoria worked in the Social Protection and Jobs Global Practice on strengthening labor market policies and challenges and opportunities of population aging in the Europe and Central Asia region, and on the performance of social safety net systems in the Middle East and North Africa region. Before joining the World Bank, Victoria worked at Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC.
Victoria holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard.
