Viet Anh Nguyen is a Senior Public Sector Specialist in the Global Governance Practice of the World Bank Group. Viet Anh has 20 years of experience working in tax, administrative, and regulatory reforms with the Prime Minister’s Office of the Government of Vietnam, USAID, and the World Bank. He has been working both inside and outside the government to deliver reform initiatives and build government officials’ capacity to sustain the reforms. Viet Anh is co-chairing the Revenue Administration Community of Practice and a member of Governance Global Practice’s Global Solution Group on Domestic Revenue Mobilization (DRM). He initiates and leads high-profile operations and technical assistance activities supporting countries across the Mekong, the Pacific, and Central Asia to design and implement tax policy and tax administration reforms. He holds an MBA from the Sheffield Business School (UK).
