Vipul Mathur is an economist, specializing in Macro-finance. Currently, he is a faculty of economics at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Prior to joining academia, he worked in financial markets, at the fixed income and currency trading desks. His research interests are in the domain of macroeconomic theory and policy, financial markets and banking sector. He holds a doctorate in Economics from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
