Weijen Leow is Senior Environmental Finance Specialist with the World Bank's Environment Practice, where he currently covers Europe and Central Asia. He works on green growth, green standards, and has written about the role of national budgets and public investments in delivering climate finance. Recently he has been focusing on policies for private finance mobilization and financial innovations. Weijen previously led the World Bank’s work on the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action, and the Climate Action Peer Exchange. Between 2011-2014 he served as Chief Specialist at the Singapore Ministry of Finance with responsibilities for carbon pricing and climate resilience planning.
