Wendy Cunningham is a Lead Economist in World Bank’s Human Capital Project, where she leads the program on demographics for economic development. During her 20 years at the World Bank, Wendy has carried out research and provided operational support on issues related to jobs, labor markets, socio-emotional skills, youth development, and gender in the World Bank’s Sub-Saharan Africa, East Asia and Pacific, and Latin America and Caribbean regions. Wendy has a Ph.D. in labor economics from the University of Illinois, and publishes in economics, education, and psychology journals.
