Wendy Cunningham is a Lead Economist in the World Bank’s Social Protection and Labor Practice, working in the Africa Region. During her 20 years at the World Bank, Wendy has carried out research and provided operational support on issues related to jobs, labor markets, socio-emotional skills, youth development, and gender in the World Bank’s East Asia and Pacific region and Latin America and Caribbean region. Wendy has a Ph.D. in labor economics from the University of Illinois, and publishes in economics, education, and psychology journals.
