William Baghdassarian is an independent public debt and financial sector consultant with over 15 years of experience providing expert advice to numerous global organizations such as the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, FSDA, Mefmi, and The Commonwealth Secretariat. William also serves the Brazilian government since 1998. He held senior positions in multiple areas, including as Head of the Public Debt Risk Management Division, Head of the Brazilian Sovereign Wealth Fund, and advisor in the Brazilian President’s cabinet and in the Parliament. William is a lecturer in IBMEC, a leading Brazilian business school, and holds a PhD in Finance from ICMACentre – the University of Reading.
