Xiaofeng Hua is a Senior Financial Sector Specialist at the Finance and Private Sector Development Unit, Africa Region, the World Bank. Over the past two decades Xiaofeng has worked on a broad spectrum of financial sector development issues in a number of East/Southeast Asian countries and Sub-Sahara African countries. More recently she has focused on financial infrastructure development and SME financing. Before joining the World Bank Xiaofeng worked for some public sector institutions in Beijing, China, including a national publishing house and a state-owned woolen textile factory. She holds a MBA from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from Beijing International Studies University.
