Dr. Xiaoyong Ni is an assistant professor in the School of National Safety and Emergency Management, Beijing Normal University. His research focuses on resilient city and infrastructure security. Dr. Ni’s research interests include disaster mechanism of typical urban disasters, infrastructure vulnerability assessment, personnel spatio-temporal behavior analysis, traffic data mining, and traffic simulation. He holds Ph.D. in Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. Dr. Ni has participated in National Key R&D Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China as a backbone member and published 16 SCI/EI indexed papers in the recent five years.
