Xiaoyu Wang is a data science consultant. Her expertise also includes Machine Learning (data mining, and predictive modeling, ETL, feature engineering, and model development) in end-to-end projects, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Model, statistical analysis and data visualization.
She has worked extensively with institutions like the World Bank, the IMF and the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) as data science consultant and data-related roles. Her several projects involved working with large datasets, finance evaluation document classification by Transformer (BERT) models, sentiment analysis for social media on AWS environment.
She holds a Master's degree in Applied Statistics and Science of Decision-Making from Fordham University, and a Bachelor's degree in Applied Math and Economics from South-Central University of Nationalities and dual degree in Economics from Wuhan University.
