Xijie Lu is a Disaster Risk Management Consultant at the World Bank in Washington DC. He works on disaster risk management, risk financing, infrastructure development, and specializes in the application of geospatial analytics and open-sourced technology to identify and solve pressing development issues. Formerly a Junior Professional Associate, Xijie holds a M.S. in Applied Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and has co-authored a World Bank regional flagship report and working papers.
