Xin Wang is a Ph.D.student at the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Southern California. She holds a master’s degree in Mass Communication and a B.A. in Russian language from Peking University, China. She has eight years of working experience in professional journalism, media marketing and management at the People’s Daily and is also a co-founder of a weekly newspaper, China Energy News. Her current research interests at USC, Annenberg concentrate on environmental communication, climate change, nation branding, public diplomacy, and civic engagement.
