Yalenga Nyirenda is a Country Economist in the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice at the World Bank based in Malawi. She contributes to economic monitoring and analytical work on various economic issues in Malawi. Her expertise is in macroeconomic modeling and analysis; tax analysis and revenue forecasting; and fiscal policy. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked as an Economist in the Ministry of Finance in Malawi.
