Yannick Djoumessi is a consultant with the Agriculture and Food Global Practice at the World Bank, where he supports operations and analytics focused on food system resilience and trade integration. He joined the World Bank Group in January 2023 through the Africa Fellowship Program, contributing to both the Country Private Sector Diagnostic (CPSD) and Research units at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). He is currently involved in the West Africa Food System Resilience Program (FSRP) and its Food System Resilience Facility (FSRF), providing technical support to regional organizations on priority agendas. Prior to joining the World Bank, he held research and scientific roles at institutions such as AVRDC – The World Vegetable Center, the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3ie), and as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Johannesburg.
