Yao Thibaut Kpegli is a consultant at the Health, Nutrition, and Population Global Practice of The World Bank Group where he provides research and operational support to projects in Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, and Benin. Additionally, he is a lecturer and researcher at the University Paris-Saclay, where he delivers lectures on impact evaluation and decision science. His research interests span health economics, development economics, decision science, and experimental economics. His research results have been published in academic journals such as the Journal of Mathematical Economics and Economics Bulletin. Prior to his current roles, he served as a consultant at Action Against Hunger and Consortium pour la Recherche Economique et Sociale (CRES), where he provided research support to health-related projects in West African countries. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Lyon in 2023, complemented by an M.Sc in Economics and Finance from the same institution in 2019, and an M.Sc in Quantitative Economics from Gaston Berger University in 2016.
