Yasmine, an Egyptian-American, graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Political Science, specializing in International Affairs. She is passionate about issues relating to poverty, education, rural development and agriculture. Yasmine is fluent in German and conversant in Spanish and French. Since graduating in 2007 her adventures have taken her from the streets of Cairo, to a vineyard in Germany, to an office in London and organic farms in Spain. She has just recently returned from South America where she worked with a microfinance organization in Bolivia and explored coffee farms in Colombia.
