Yassin Sabha (Jordanian-Italian national) is a Private Sector Consultant at the World Bank Group, Trade & Competitiveness Global Practice, based in Vienna, Austria. At T&C Yassin advises governments in multiple regions (e.g. Middle East and North Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, South Asia, and Africa) attract and retain private investment by improving their Investment Climate, with focus on Investment Policy & Promotion and Business Environment reforms. He is a co-author of the Investment Climate unit’s toolkit on investment incentives. Prior to the WBG, Yassin worked in the team of the Italian Minister of Economic Development and in private sector development consulting, working on issues related to trade and investment. Yassin holds Master’s degrees with Honors in International Economics, Middle East Studies, and International Management, from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the Thunderbird School of Global Management of Arizona State University, and a Bachelor in Business Administration from Bocconi University.
