Yeshwas Admasu is an Economist at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). Previously, He was a Young Fellow in the Forced Displacement Program which is supported by the FCDO-UNHCR-WB program on building the evidence on forced displacement. As a fellow, he examined multidimensional poverty in the context of forced displacement and access to resources and opportunities for restoring livelihoods as part of the gender dimensions of forced displacement research program. His main research interests are in development economics and agricultural economics, with a special focus on applying impact evaluation techniques. Yeshwas received his PhD in Economics from Heriot-Watt University in the United Kingdom and MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
