Yiruo Li is a consultant at Jobs Group of the World Bank, where her work focuses on labor economics research. Prior to this role, she worked at the IMF as a research analyst for Southern African countries on macroeconomic frameworks and country-specific structural issues. Her past analytical work includes digitalization, external competitiveness, growth diagnostics, and financial inclusion. She received her master’s degree in applied economics from Georgetown University and is pursuing her Ph.D. in public policy at George Washington University.
