Young il Choi is an Economist with the Development Economics Prospects Group (DECPG) at the World Bank. He contributes the team by operating and maintaining World Bank’s Macro econometric model. He is currently working on a project, introducing capital flows bloc into the model. Prior to joining DECPG, Young il served as an Economist in the Bank of Korea in Seoul, mainly in Research department and Monetary policy & Markets department. He has published a number of publications regarding econometric modeling and forecasting, external transactions, and financial markets. He holds a M.A. and a B.A. in economics from Yonsei University.
