Yuki Kimura is a Junior Professional Officer at the Global Poverty and Inequality Data Unit in the World Bank's Development Data Goup. Her research interests include inequality, measuring top incomes, and the psychological aspects of poverty. She contributes to the Poverty and Inequality Platform (PIP), the home of the World Bank’s global poverty numbers. Prior to this role, she was an consultant for the same institution in Uzbekistan.
Yuki is from Japan and holds a B.A. from the University of Oxford and completed her MSc and PhD in Economics at the University of Sussex.
