Yurani Arias Granada is a consultant in the Poverty and Equity Global Practice of the World Bank. She has previously worked as a research assistant in the Government of Antioquia (Colombia), the Medellin chamber of commerce, and Universidad EAFIT in Medellin (Colombia). She has experience working on poverty, innovation, employment and sustainable development. Her research interests include the relationship between poverty and climate change, urban poverty, environmental economics, development economics, green growth, sustainable and inclusive cities. She holds a BA in Economics from Universidad EAFIT, and an MSc in Economics from the same university.
