Zack Sabella is a Private Sector Specialist in the West Bank and Gaza Country Office based in Jerusalem and is part of the Prosperity Practice Group. He is the Task Team Leader for the Technology for Youth and Jobs (TechStart) project which aims to increase economic opportunities for Palestinian IT companies and create jobs for Palestinians in the relatively nascent yet growing Palestinian IT sector. Prior to joining the Bank in 2020, Zack held senior positions as Private Sector Advisor with the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office and Canada’s Global Affairs Department. He received a Master of Public Policy from Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government (2014) and a Master of Science in Project Planning and Development Policy from the University of Glasgow’s Center for Development Studies (2008).
