Mr. Khan has a long professional career of 24 years in river and coastal hydraulics and morphology, planning and management of water resources. He has vast experience in the study of flow dynamics, waves, storm surges, flood and drainage management, impact assessment of climate change and sea level rise, hydrological and hydrodynamic modeling, wave, storm surge and morphological modeling. He has authored and presented over 10 technical papers, as well as few publications on tidal river management, coastal morphology, impact assessment of climate change.

Mr. Khan has a masters in Water Resources Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering Technology (BUET).
